Medal of Honored Developer of Science and Technology of
RSFSR, 1985 - 1995 issue. In outstanding condition. Awarded
for technology-oriented research as opposed to similar title
of Honored Developer (or "Advancer") of Science. The medal was
established near the end of the Soviet era, and only a small
number were ever issued.
Award Certificate (Honorary Diploma) for the Title of Honored Developer of Science and Technology of RSFSR, in original folder, issued in 1966. EXC condition.
Medal of Honored Scientist of Ukrainian SSR, 1967-1988 issue.
A very scarce award: no more than 750 specimens were ever
issued over two decades of its existence. In excellent
condition.
Medal of Honored Worker of Science and Culture of Komi ASSR, circa 1980s. A scarce medal in very fine condition.

Rare badge awarded prior to 1953 when the republic lost its
full Union Republic status and became an autonomous republic
within Russian Federation. In excellent condition.
Award Table Medal in bronze to a Winner of the 1985 Contest of Student Science
Papers on Social Studies, History of the VLKSM, and History of the International
Youth Movement. Rather than being a purely commemorative medal, this unusual piece
was bestowed exclusively upon the laureates of the contest and only on one
occasion. Just 300 were ever produced. In excellent condition.
Medal for Active Work on Cultivating Children and Adolescents, 1986-1991. Bestowed
jointly by the Central Committee of Komsomol and Soviet Trade Union Committee
(VTsSPS) for only a few years before the collapse of the USSR. Near mint
condition.
Medal (Badge) of Honored Chemist of the USSR, late 1970s - 1980s. Well-made,
relatively high-level award. Excellent condition.

Extremely unusual miniature piece incorporating the design of the Imperial
University badge and the red star with hammer and sickle. In silver and enamels,
hallmarked.

Highest Diplomatic School graduate badge, late 1960s through
1974. Exclusive college for espionage agents and children of
Soviet elite. In excellent condition.
Institute of International Relationships (IMO) graduate badge, pin back version,
circa late 1970s-1980s. The school was an elite establishment whose graduates went
on to occupy coveted positions in the Soviet Diplomatic Corps. Many graduates were
KGB and GRU officers slated for service abroad. In very fine to excellent
condition.
Leningrad Highest Merchant Fleet Engineering Academy (LVIMU),
graduate badge, circa 1960s. An unusual piece by one of the
smaller manufacturers. In excellent condition.

College Students, Faculty, and Retail Trade, circa 1950s - early 60s. Excellent

Nauka ("Science") Sports Club Membership Badge, screw back miniature version,
circa late 1940s - early 1950s. Organized in 1936, this DSO ("Volunteer Sports
Society") was the sports club of the trade union of scientists and employees of
higher education. It was absorbed by the DSO Burevestnik during the reorganization
of Soviet sprots movement in 1957. Excellent condition.
Nauka ("Science") Sports Club, Honorary Badge, 1949. Nauka was the DSO ("Volunteer
Sports Society") of the trade union of scientists and employees of higher
education. Excellent condition.

150th Anniversary of the Kiev State University, Table Medal and Breast Medal
(Badge), Complete Set in Original Fitted Case of Issue, 1984. In near mint
condition.
Centennial of Birth of Ivan Michurin, Table Medal in bronze with Original Case of
Issue, 1955. Celebrating life of a legendary Russian botanist whose legacy was
used to prop up a fraudulent "progressive" biological theory - and set back
genetics research in the USSR by decades. This is one of the earliest and most
scarce of Soviet table medals, with only 570 ever made. Near mint
condition.
