Leningrad V I Ul'yanov (Lenin) Institute of Electrical Engineering (Elektrotekhnicheskiy Institut) graduate badge, Type 2, circa late 1960s - early 1970s.
Gilded brass, enamels, 53.7 mm x 24.7 mm. Riveted 2-piece construction, very nice quality and attractive design. Reverse has raised late type logo of the Leningrad Mint.
Unlike the first type, the second, more scarce version of the badge does not have a superimposed cipher. Shows abbreviated name of the school "LETI" in gold in the center, and complete name inscribed in the yellow band along the edge. Excellent condition. Comes with original mint marked screw plate.
