Medal of Honored Medical Doctor of RSFSR, 1975-1995. The top level of recognition
bestowed by the government of Soviet Russian (and later, Russian Federation) upon
MDs. Although the title existed since 1940, the medal (or "honorary badge" by its
official Soviet designation) was only established in 1975. In excellent condition.
Award Certificate (Honorary Diploma) for the Title of Honored Medical Doctor of RSFSR, with original early-style folder and hard case of issue, issued to female internal medicine doctor. The entire set is in superb condition.

USSR, membership badge, early to mid-1930s. In excellent
condition, very uncommon for this badge. Includes original
screw plate.
OSNAV Water Rescue Society Member Badge, 1928-1931. VF/EXC condition and includes
original screw plate. Very scarce.
OSVOD Water Rescue Society Award Badge, 1934 issue to a Female Athlete for Winning
1st Prize in a Swimming Competition. Very interesting and rare piece customized to
wear as a jetton. F/VF condition.

Mountain Rescue Unit Member Badge, 1960s. This very attractive
and rather large badge was manufactured in Soviet Latvia
starting from 1962. Relatively early, unnumbered screw back
version in outstanding condition.

Stalino Medical Institute (SMI) 30th Anniversary, Graduate Badge, 1960. A very
interesting piece: the city of Stalino (pre-revolutionary Yuzovka) was renamed
Donetsk in 1961 during Khrushchev's "de-Stalinization" campaign; the institute was
renamed Donetsk Medical Institute during the same year. The badge is thus one of
the last to refer to the old name of both the city and school. EXC condition.
Medical School Graduate badge, c. 1970s. A beautiful Leningrad Mint version in
brass and enamels of magnificent quality. EXC condition.
Medical School (Meditsinskiy Institut) graduate badge, circa mid to late 1980s single-piece version by the Leningrad Mint in aluminum and high quality enamels. In excellent condition.
Pharmaceutical Institute (higher level college), graduate
badge, 1970s-80s. Single-piece version by the Leningrad Mint
in aluminum and high quality enamels. In excellent condition.
Leningrad Veterinary Medicine Institute (LVI) graduate badge, circa 1950s.

Badge in Commemoration of the 170th Anniversary of the Kirov Higher Military Medical Academy (VMA), 1968. Relatively scarce badge awarded to faculty and staff to commemorate the anniversary and also the school being awarded with an Order of the Red Banner. In excellent condition.
XV International Congress of Physiologists of 1935, Participant's Table
Medal in Bronze, with Original Fitted Case of Issue. Features portrait of Ivan
Sechenov, a famous Russian neuroscientist and physiologist. In excellent
condition. One of only pre-WW2 Soviet Table Medals. Very rare, especially with its
original case included.
