Order of Mother-Heroine, Var. 1, #9517, with a document,
awarded on 3 May 1946. Uncommon first version of the order
issued within a year after the end of the Great Patriotic War.
The decoration is in very fine to excellent condition; the
document ("small certificate") is very good to excellent,
shows only minor wear.
Order of Mother-Heroine, Var. 1, #10867 with both the "Small"
and "Large" Award Certificates, extremely early May 1946
issue. The Large Certificate is in Type 1 red folder
which was issued for only a couple of years. A very uncommon
set.
Large certificate for the title of Mother-Heroine,
August 1982 issue in very good to excellent condition. Shows
autopen signature of
Soviet premier Leonid Brezhnev.
Large certificate for the title of Mother-Heroine, awarded in
June 1985 to a woman who gave birth to 10
children and raised them.
Order of Maternal Glory 1st cl., Var. 1, #29914,
circa mid-1940s. Scarce early version featuring wider
pendant and counter-relief to the suspension device. Note
the low 5-digit serial number. In fine to very fine
condition.
Order of Maternal Glory 1st cl., Var. 2, #759834, circa 1980s. In excellent condition - a beautiful example free of noticeable flaking or scratches to enamel.
Order of Maternal Glory 2nd class, Var. 1, #103132, circa late 1940s. An uncommon early version with small eyelet and relief-reverse suspension. Very fine to excellent condition.
Order of Maternal Glory 3rd cl, Var. 1 (relief reverse
suspension), #132121, with a document. Bestowed by a February
1946 decree of the Supreme Soviet of Uzbekistan is one of the
earliest issues following the introduction of Soviet
motherhood awards in 1944. A very scarce set!
Order of Maternal Glory 3rd cl, Var. 1, #123450, circa
1945 issue. An uncommon wartime / very early post-war issue
featuring wider medallion and relief reverse construction of
the suspension. In very fine condition.
Order of Maternal Glory 3rd cl, Var. 1, #2175. An
extremely early issue without mint mark and with relief
reverse suspension device, almost certainly issued
during
WW2. In fine to very fine overall condition.
Order of Maternal Glory 3rd cl, Var. 1 (relief reverse
suspension), #292362, circa mid- to late-1940s. In fine to
very fine condition.
Order of Maternal Glory 3rd class, Var. 2, #2689076, circa mid- to late-1980s. In superb condition; the enamel is completely free of the usual chips or flaking.
Motherhood Medal 1st cl., Var. 1(with separate eyelet), 1940s. In excellent condition.
Motherhood Medal 1st cl. Var. 2, very scarce Sub-Variation
with U-shaped eyelet, circa late 1940s - early 1950s
issue. In very fine to excellent condition.
Motherhood Medal 1st cl. Var. 2, very scarce version
featuring mint mark "MMD" on the suspension device, circa
1960s-70s issue. In very fine to excellent condition.
Motherhood Medal 1st cl. (in silver), circa 1970s-1980s issue.
In excellent condition: with perfectly preserved details of
the medallion and completely free of the usual flaking or
chips to enamel.
Award certificate for a Motherhood Medal, 1st cl., issued in 1976 to a Ukrainian woman. In very good to excellent condition.
Motherhood Medal, 2nd cl., Var. 2, rare version featuring
mint mark "MMD" on the suspension device, circa 1960s-70s
issue. In very fine to excellent condition.
Award certificate for a Motherhood Medal, 2nd cl., issued in 1949 to a Russian woman. This early certificate is different from those issued in the 50s and later, and was probably awarded with Variation 1 medal on early-style suspension. In near mint condition.
Award certificate for a Motherhood Medal, 2nd cl., issued in
1953 to a Ukrainian. In near mint condition.
