Badge in Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Victory over
Germany, aluminum version, 1970 issue. This badge awarded to
all surviving Soviet WW2 veterans had a significance of a
jubilee medal. In excellent condition.

edition". Maker-marked. Excellent condition.
Badge in Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Victory over Germany, 1970. A
less common version by the Shcherbinskiy Factory featuring well-defined counter-
relief. Excellent condition.
Jubilee Badge in Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the
Soviet War Veterans Committee, 1981 issue. A nicely made medal
in
brass and lacquer by the Leningrad Mint. In very fine to excellent
condition. This relatively uncommon award was issued mostly to
VIP veterans, not rank and file.
Jubilee Badge in Commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of SKVV
(Soviet War Veterans Committee), 1986 issue. Well-made medal
in brass and lacquer showing logo of the Leningrad Mint. In
excellent condition. This award was issued only sparingly and
mostly to VIPs.

Anniversary of Victory over Germany, 1980 issue. In excellent

Badge of a Veteran of the 26th Army, circa 1970-72 issue. The army was wiped-out three times over the course of the war and had to be rebuilt three times! Its fourth formation spent most of the time in comparatively less important sectors of the front and was probably understrength through the rest of the war. As a result, its WW2 veteran badge is very scarce compared with veteran badges of most other Soviet armies. In excellent condition.

Badge of a Veteran of the 56th Army, circa 1970s-80s. An
attractive badge in excellent condition.
Group of 4 Award Documents and Greetings to Hero of the Soviet Union including Document for a 62nd / 8th Guards Army Veteran Badge hand-
signed by Marshal Chuikov, 1960s-80s. The recipient, an Airborne Sergeant, earned the title of Hero in the battle of Kiev, which was catastrophic for the Red Army. He was among the first to become an HSU during the war.
Veteran Badge in Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the 4th Guards Tank Corps / Kantemirovskaya Guards Tank Division, 1967 issue. An attractive badge of riveted construction with Moscow Mint logo on the reverse. One of the most illustrious WW2 Soviet tank units, the 4th Tank Corps played an important role in the Battles of Stalingrad and Kursk as well as offensives in the Ukraine, Poland and Germany. After the war it was reduced in size to a tank division but retained all the honorifics and awards of the original unit.

1941 greatly distinguished itself in the Battle of Moscow and
was elevated to Guards.

Badge of a Veteran of Nevskaya Dubrovka, circa early 1970s
issue. The Nevskaya Dubrovka was a key Soviet stronghold on
the bank of the Neva River that was a scene of exceptionally
bloody fighting for much of the Nazi siege of Leningrad. This
relatively early veteran's badge was probably made by the
Lenemalyer Factory. In excellent condition.
Veteran Badge in Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the
Operation Neva (Lifting the Siege of Leningrad in January
1944.) A relatively uncommon example of veteran's badge issued
after the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991, yet in made in
the same manner as Soviet-era badges. In excellent condition.
Badge of a Veteran of Combat on the Neva Bridgehead, circa
late 1960s - early 70s. Issued to one of the surviving
participants of enormously costly and largely unsuccessful
Soviet efforts to break the blockade of Leningrad by storming
across the Neva and dislodging the Germans from the Sinyavino
Heights (on the so-called Mga Bottleneck.)

of the 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution, 1967 issue. Features a mobile
ballistic missile launcher in front of the Moscow Kremlin. In excellent condition.
Badge of a Participant of the Military Parade on the Red Square in Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the October Revolution, 1987 issue. The 1987 event was the last "jubilee" parade held before the breakup of the USSR in 1991. In excellent condition.
