In olive drab wool gabardine, with sky blue piping and band. Black lacquered chin strap. The sweat diamond shows the logo of the Yunost ("Youth") Garment Factory in the town of Borovichi of the Novgorod region, northwestern Russia and a 1980 date of manufacture (the latter is only legible under a UV light). The liner is marked Size 58 (US Size 7 ¼ / Large.) There is an orange quality control stamp to the underside of the sweatband.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The hat is completely free of moth damage. Both the interior and exterior are immaculately clean.
