Jetton of the First Agriculture and Cottage Industry Fair in Moscow, 1923. Rare
piece issued while Lenin was still alive, during the temporary NEP thaw which
allowed limited private entrepreneurship. The agricultural fair in Moscow later
received lavishly decorated fairgrounds and eventually became the famous permanent
VDNKh Exhibition. EXC condition.
RSFSR International Sports Tournament of July 1920,
Jeton for Winning a First Prize.
One of the very first Soviet awards or badges of any kind,
issued at the time when Lenin was alive and the Civil War
was
still raging. The striking "revolutionary" design of this
piece is very characteristic of its era.
Badge to a Friend of DOBROKhIM, 1924 - 1925 issue. In hallmarked Silver and
enamel of beautiful quality. Features "Poison Green" flag with a bayonet for a
flagpole and superimposed silver figure of a Red Army soldier wearing a gas mask.
In fine condition, a very interesting and attractive piece despite some flaws.
