Nickel-plated and bronze-plated steel, enamel. 39.8 mm height, 41.8 mm width. Red star with center showing a worker with a sledgehammer, industrial buildings and tractor plowing the field.

The motto ringing the star is, "Ruling the Soviet State is business of working people. Brigadmil". The word Brigadmil is one of the early Soviet Newspeakacronyms which stands for "Police [Support] Brigade".

The enamel is repaired on the lower right arm of the star and is missing on the tip of the upper left arm. The center medallion show moderate pitting due to age and inferior quality materials (this was an identification badge, not intended to last); however there is not much wear and the details of the medallion are very well defined.

Fine to very fine overall condition. Comes with vintage washer and screw plate, believed to be original to the badge.
