Documented Group to a Hero of Socialist Labor, foreman of the Kharkov Motor
Factory, Ukraine. Includes a 1966 Gold "Hammer and Sickle" Medal, Order of Lenin
issued with it (a very scarce Leningrad Mint version), Order Booklet and
Hero's ID ("Small Certificate"). All 4 items in the group are in superb
condition - literally impossible to upgrade. An uncommon set for the
accomplishments in completing the Seven-Year Plan.
Complete Documented Group of 16 Decorations and Badges incl. an Order of Lenin,
Order of the Red Banner, Orders of the Patriotic War, 1st and 2nd cl. (both WW2
combat issues), and 1943 Order of the Red Star. The recipient, a senior
quartermaster officer, distinguished himself by providing the troops with all that
was needed in a number of Soviet offensives. The Order of Lenin is a 1949 length
of service award in excellent condition. The group includes a WW2 orders booklet
containing a nice photo of the recipient wearing his awards and comes with a copy
of the award commendations for WW2 decorations.
Documented Group of Two 1940's Decorations to an ethnic
Korean. Includes very scarce Order of the Red Banner of
Labor Type 3 "Jumbo" #27232 without a mint mark and a
"flat back" Badge of Honor. Both the decorations and the order
booklet are in excellent condition. This highly unusual group
has a great research potential.
Documented Group of 2 Decorations to a political officer including a Medal for
Combat Service Type 1 for the Battle of Stalingrad and a relatively early Order of
the Red Star. In November 1942, he served with the famous 5th Tank Army that
captured the vital Don River crossing at Kalach thus trapping the German VI Army.
Both decorations are in excellent condition. Comes with a copy of the award
commendations.
Complete Documented Group incl. Medals for Valor and Combat Service to a Private
in
a BM-13 Katyusha Multiple Rocket Launcher Unit. During the Bagration Offensive in
June 1944, he saved the life of his commander by protecting him with his body from
a
German bullet and killing the attacker. He also showed bravery during the Vistula-
Oder Operation. Both medals are in VF condition.
