"Alexander Nevsky", 1942.Political Publishing House, from "Our Great Ancestors" series.
The book is about the feats of Novgorod duke Alexander Nevsky who destroyed an expeditionary force of Teutonic knights in 1242. Typical Soviet style account of the era, with vilification of Germans as a whole, and emphasis on "traitors" that had helped them to achieve early successes.
There is also a page long praise of Stalin, comparing him to Russian military heroes such as Nevsky, Suvorov and Kutuzov.
Condition is used very good, wartime quality paper, a few frays on the edges, but holding together well. About 6"x4" 39pp.
