Photo of Three Aviation Technicians, Two of Them Women, Servicing an Airplane in a Hangar, circa late 1920s - early 40s.

Measures approx. 4" x 3 ¾", printed on glossy photo paper. Uncommonly, two of the technicians are females. In the early Soviet era, it was new and exciting for young women to venture into traditionally "men's" professions, so this photo could be a reflection of that trend.

In very good to excellent condition. There is a tiny closed rip to the upper edge, easily reinforceable with tape on the verso, and wear to the corners, mostly due to the photo being kept in an album with corner slits. Tilting the photo to reflect a bright light reveals minute scuffs to the emulsion, and a fingerprint or two, but all that wear is practically invisible when looking at it at a normal viewing angle. The verso is unmarked, moderately age-toned, and mostly clean, showing just minimal foxing.

Please note that the penny in our photo is for size reference.
