Measures 3 ¼" x 5 ¼", printed on thin semi-gloss textured photo paper. The photo presents, in sepia tones, a young Air Force officer in dress uniform with sleeve wings of a flight personnel, wearing the "Ready for Labor and Defense" physical fitness badge.

The photo is in very good to excellent condition. Two small creases in the bottom corners are flattened out and blend in nicely with the dark background. Tilting the photo to reflect a bright light reveals multiple foxing spots but they are practically invisible when looking at the photo at a normal angle. The verso shows minor staining, mostly along the edges, not relevant in its position on the back of the photo. The image is in sharp focus providing an excellent opportunity to have a close look at the uniform, insignia, and badge of the officer.
