Postcard Man in Space, not typographically printed on the verso, late 1960s.

The size is continental standard 4" x 6". Postally marked, cancelled. Uncommonly, there is no typographically printed information or lines for the address on the verso. The postal mark is cancelled but the stamp with the postal office and date is missing. The handwritten message is dated 16 July 1968, so the artwork most likely depicts the first spacewalk by the Soviet cosmonaut Alexey Leonov which took place in 1965.

In very good to excellent condition. There are a few minor creases at the corners, and minuscule corner bumps, not too obvious and not very detractive. The colors of the artwork are bright.

The message on the verso was written to a family member and signed by "Aunt Sonya". Among other things, she described a problem with central heating in her building, resulting with the temperature plummeting to 14 degrees Celcius (57 F) inside her apartment.
