Brass gilt, silver plating, enamels; 46.6 x 26.8 mm. Riveted 3-piece construction, fine quality. In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect, gilt finish on the state emblem pristine and very bright. The screw post is full length, nearly 10.5 mm. Comes with original mint marked screw plate.

This badge came to replace the late 1950s version of the "unified" military academy badge in solid silver. This is the official, mint-made version awarded to all students upon graduation (as opposed to additional graduation badges that were often privately commissioned and purchased by the graduates with their own money.)
