Measures 55" x 41". Artist signed and dated "L. Chesnokov 80" near the edge in the lower left. This very professional original artwork shows what could be one of rambling "forest parks" in Moscow or any other major Russian city. Strangely, the landscape almost has the abandoned feel of the Saratoga Springs State Park off season.

There is a single puncture hole at the base of the tree on the foreground, repaired in an amateur fashion with a patch of canvas applied to verso. Aside from that, the paining is very well preserved.
