Group Portrait of Three Pre-WW I Military Engineers/Sappers.
Measures 4 ¼" by 6 ½". Michailovski studio in Zarkov. Each soldier wears a belt with a large Imperial Russian Army engineer's belt buckle. The one shoulder strap being worn that is clearly visible is that of a Sapper Battalion with a large number "7" on it under a crossed shovel and pickax. Reverse has large advertisement for the studio, marks where the photo was once pasted into an album.
Very good condition. There is considerable wear on all of the edges and across the surface but it does not detract from the fact that this is an exceptionally informative uniform study.
