Pocket-sized, 4 ½" x 5 ½", hard cover, 148 pp., published by the Legal Publishing House of the Commissariat of Justice. Contains a comparative table of changes since the previous revision of the Code.
In excellent condition. The soiling to the cover adds to the air of authenticity and age of the booklet. The binding staples are tight and strong, the internal pages are clean. Believe it or not, but a book worm tried to study the Code, eating elaborate labyrinths in the pages in several places. Currently, the booklet is clear of any infestation.

The 1926 Criminal Code was very liberal and relaxed, compared to its later versions, citing no punishment for slacking, abortion, homosexuality, suicide attempts, etc. Very interesting material to study and draw parallels with the actual lifestyle and social atmosphere in the Soviet Russia of that time!
