Wall Plate with Photo Portrait of a Decorated Navy Officer in "Victory Parade" tunic, circa late 1940s.
In light-weight plastic, 7 ¾" across. The photo presents a Soviet Navy Captain 2nd rank in the so-called "Victory Parade" uniform tunic, wearing an Order of the Red Star and four WW2 medals including Medal for Combat Service and Medal for Capture of Koenigsberg. The plate is maker marked КПЗ МХП ГХП on the bottom, the mark of the Karacharovo Plastic Factory, at the Ministry of Chemichal Industry.
In very good condition. The thin film with the photo and decorative margin has split at the bottom part of the photo and, separately,

In very good condition. The thin film with the photo and decorative margin has split at the bottom part of the photo and, separately, at 10 o'clock on the margin. Not too obvious, and not very detractive. A tiny hole has been drilled through the bottom rim for wall mounting.
