Tokarev pistol holster, circa late 1930s - 1941 issue.

In smooth leather of a slightly lighter shade of brown as characteristic of early WW2 manufacture prior to the Patriotic War, of noticeably finer grade than the typical thinner pebbled leather used after the German invasion. Comes complete with a cleaning rod and cleaning rod holders, magazine compartment, and belt loops in matching leather. The closure toggle is in nickel-plated brass, rivets and belt loop rings are in zinc and nickel-coated steel. There are a couple of manufacturer's stamps on the inside flap that are almost entirely worn out and illegible.

In excellent conditio

In excellent condition. The leather is still supple and has nice, healthy sheen. There are only minor scuffs from light use, mostly on the belt loops, no stains or significant soiling. All the stitching is completely intact and sound; the metal hardware is perfect. An extremely attractive early piece.
