The image is in exceptionally sharp focus, providing a rare opportunity to have a close look at so many different uniforms, insignia, and period civilian attire, all in one photo.

Each Soviet ministry and many large manufacturing enterprises had health resorts for their employees, with medical staff and multiple therapeutic procedures aimed to restore the employees' health. Many of them had professional photographers on concession basis, granting them access to the premises and allowing to solicit photos. The lucky few who got a putyovka, a free voucher to such a resort, spent their entire month-long annual vacation there, made friends with other customers and staff, so in this photo we may be seeing the customers, their wives and, possibly, the medical staff working in Building 1 of this resort.
