In excellent condition. The enamel shows a magnificent luster and is perfect with the exception of a tiny, nearly unnoticeable amount of wear to the apex of the red star at the bottom. The raised details are pristine; the gilt finish is nicely preserved. Very attractive toning to silver throughout. Includes original two-layer suspension device in aluminum with attractive, well-preserved old ribbon. The connecting link appears to be original; its ends are still joined with solder.
