In white metal, gilt and enamels; 63.5 x 63.5 mm; weighs 44.2 g. Very high quality, riveted multi-piece construction. The air force wings with the central emblem combining the coats of arms of Aragon and Leon (1936-1976 style), Greek cross in white, gold bar with the crown at the top, and the four emblems of Aragon and Leon between the arms of the cross are separate superimposed parts mounted on the star.
Excellent condition. The enamel is perfect and shows magnificent luster. The gilt finish is bright and free of tarnish. The rivets are tight.

This decoration of the Franko era was bestowed mostly on active-duty air force personnel for outstanding achievements in times of peace (as signified by the white color of the cross).
