Kodak Postcard Photo of a Combat Engineer Major, circa mid-1930s - early 40s.
Measures 3 ¼" x 5 ¼", printed on cardboard matte Kodak photo paper. The photo presents a Combat Engineer major in field uniform. The verso has preprinted lines for the address, and a square placeholder for a postal mark, with "KLTD" logo inside. The logo stands for "Kodak Ltd." Most likely, it was a brand license for photographers who worked exclusively with Kodak cameras and paper, and paid usage fees entitling them to produce postcard-sized photos.
In good to very good condition. There are traces of developing chemicals on the emulsion, mostly at the bottom of the image. Tilting

In good to very good condition. There are traces of developing chemicals on the emulsion, mostly at the bottom of the image. Tilting the photo to reflect a bright light reveals a couple of small smears and fingerprints, but those are mostly invisible when looking at the photo at a normal viewing angle.
