The obverse shows many tiny dings and a minor amount of wear to the high points of the artwork, but the details are still well-preserved overall. Comes on an original WW2 era suspension, a two-layer model in steel with self-locking pin. The well-preserved ribbon is old, although probably not of the same vintage as the medal itself. The connecting link has been cut but appears to be original or at least of the period.
