Lastly, only the first and last name of the recipient are written-in; a Soviet document would typically have the last, first and patronymic name that would appear in that order.

The document is in excellent condition. There are a few very minor spots on the cover, but both the interior and exterior are very clean overall, free of fingerprints, stains or soiling.

Only a small number of these medals and documents were ever issued, exactly 4347 according to the recently published Soviet archival records. Most were awarded to foreign WW 2 veterans and Communist leaders who attended Lenin's birth 100th anniversary celebration in Moscow in 1970. The recipient of this particular certificate was reportedly a citizen of Czechoslovakia.
