In excellent condition. Both the obverse and reverse have only some tiny dings and contact marks mostly invisible to the naked eye. The raised details and stippling on the background are extremely well-preserved and crisp. The brass has acquired a very attractive even patina throughout, while the original "gilt" mint luster is nicely preserved in recessed areas near the lettering on the reverse.
