Tanker Helmet, winter model, dated 1982.
Features rounded earphone covers and four cushioning ribs on the top. Dark grey canvas outer shell with fleece lining for cold weather use. The underside of the back flap has a maker stamp with an August 1982 date of manufacture and "Size 1", which fits about US size 57 (approx. US size 7 1/8 / Medium).
An excellent example showing light field wear and age patina, one that could have "been there." Solid and clean with no damage or repairs. Overall, very clean having only very mild soiling to the inside earphone covers that may clean off.
Distinctive tanker helmet as used
