In brass, gilt, nickel plating and enamels; measures 21.7 mm in height, 22.6 mm in width. Riveted two-piece construction, a very well-made badge despite its smaller lapel size. Design of this badge is similar to the larger 1991 badge For Service in the SVR Foreign Intelligence. The inscription in the red band around the center medallion with the globe reads "Association of Veterans of Foreign Intelligence". Raised Moscow Mint logo on the reverse.
