This spectacular, early post-WW2 badge was introduced immediately after the Soviet re-occupation of the Baltics in the late phase of the war in Europe. It was produced locally by what used to be a private company in the Estonian capital of Tallin. The same Metallmark maker would later manufacture many Soviet badges including badges of the Supreme Soviet of Estonia.
