Measures 4" x 6 ½", mounted on cardboard backing. The lettering on the tally of the sailor's beskozyrka hat reads АВРОРА (Aurora), the name of the legendary cruiser which shot a blank from its nose gun at 9:40 p.m. on 25 October 1917 signaling the beginning of the bolshevist armed coup and the birth of the bloodiest regime in the very long and very bloody history of Russia.
