Austria-Hungary, Wounded Medal, on Original Invalid Ribbon, maker marked, dated 1918.
In zinc, 38 mm in diameter. The obverse features a raised profile of Karl I. The medal maker's name, R. Placht, is in the neck undercut. The reverse has the Latin phrase "Laeso Militi" ("Wounded Soldier"), and the year of the medal's issue in Roman numerals. The edge is stamped, rather indistinctly, with letters "WGA" and the year, 1918. The ribbon has no stripes in the middle, which was meant for invalids, or disabled war veterans, in modern terms.

appears to be original. The old burn hole on the obverse has been repaired from the inside. There is also a small dark stain to the left of
the repair, possibly a smaller burn that didn't go through the fabric. The reverse is in very fine condition: clean and damage-free, showing
neat manual stitching to the right edge.
