Measures 3 ¼" x 4 ½", printed on semi-gloss photo paper. The inscription on the verso, handwritten with a quill pen, reads "15 August 1945. For good memory to my loving sister Ala from Lyalya."

In excellent condition. Tilting the photo to reflect a bright light reveals minor scuffs to the emulsion but they are practically invisible when looking at the photo at a normal viewing angle. The image is a little overexposed but in sharp focus. The verso is quite clean, the ink of the inscription is not faded.
