Poland, Medal for Merit in National Defense, Silver Grade (2nd class), circa late 1960s - 1980s.

In brass with silver finish and lacquer; 38.1 mm wide. The horizontal inscription on the reverse reads "National Defense Ministry". In excellent condition. Includes nicely preserved old ribbon.

The medal was established in 1966 and awarded during the following decades by the Minister of Defense of Poland.
