3 ½" x 4 ¾", printed on matte photo paper. The photo presents a Red Army Junior Lieutenant in field uniform. The entry on the verso identifies him as Edesh Izzedinov, bears the seal of the Ordzonikidze Infantry Officer School, is hand-signed by the school's Head and is dated 26 September 1940.

In excellent condition. If not for the tiny corner bump on top left and the barely noticeable hair-thin scratch above the officer's left shoulder, the photo shows no wear of any kind on either side.
