The verso contains the soldier's message, written in Georgian script, in purple ink, and dated 26 February 1945.

The postcard is in good to very good condition, showing mild wear to the paper and corners, as well as wrinkles along the left-side edge. The small rip near the upper left-hand corner does not reach the graphic, and can be easily repaired with clear tape, if desired. None of the wear is very detractive. If anything, it underscores the air of authenticity and age of the postcard.
