3" x 4", printed on glossy photo paper. The photo presents a Red Army Brigade Commander (equivalent to Major General) in field uniform, wearing an early Order of the Red Banner, and an Order of the Red Star. Uncommonly, the certification stamp is on the obverse, in the upper right-hand corner.
In very good to excellent condition. The emulsion is unbroken and free of significant scuffs or stains. All the tiny white spots visible in the image are either negative defects or accidents that occurred during printing this photo, clearly done by an amateur. The bottom left-hand corner sho
