Military Archival Photo of Air Force Lieutenant Petr Prasolov (Петр Прокофьевич Прасолов) wearing M35 dress uniform, circa late 1930s.

3 ½" x 5", printed on thick glossy photo paper. The military archival entry on the verso identifies the person on the photo as lieutenant Petr Prasolov, and bears the hand signature of the Chief of Staff of military unit #8771 and the unit's seal.

In very good to excellent condition. The photo is lightly wrinkled and has a tiny missing piece at the left edge, as well as minuscule corner bumps. The emulsion is unbroken; what little wear it has shows only when tilting the photo to reflect a bright light, but is practically invisible at a normal viewing angle.

During the Patriotic War, Prasolov will earn decorations as pilot of a Tupolev SB high-speed bomber and later, a Li-2 pilot. He was shot down at least twice but survived and continued to serve until at least the early 1950s.
