Soviet Navy "Talker" headset and microphone, circa 1950s-60s.
Unissued, complete in the box of issue. As used by radio & gun crews, etc., for shipboard communications. Headset unit with 4" diameter circular rubber earpads (very similar to WW2 German Panzer headsets) to block out extraneous noise during firing. Leather head-harness permits wear underneath or over soft headgear. Large hand-held push-to-talk microphone completes the unit.
The microphone has an adjustable leather neck strap. Includes the cable and heavy-duty plug for attachment to radio and/or internal ship communications. In the original battleship grey box measuring about 14"

In excellent overall condition showing wear to the exterior of the box only. This piece of electronic gear will make an impressive addition to a Soviet Navy combat crewman collection.
