Soviet Army Land Forces, Straight-legged Trousers of a General or Marshal for a walking-out dress uniform, circa 1970s-80s.

In wave-blue wool gabardine, with meticulously tailored broad red stripes. Inside waist has a sewn-in label of a Taylor Shop #1 of the 59th Department of the Voentorg (Military Retail Directorate.) Medium / Long Size. Approximately 38" long, waist about 32", inseam about 28".

Excellent condition, used but exhibiting virtually no wear. The trousers are completely free of moth holes, stains, or soiling.

Trousers of this kind were worn as a part of the full-dress uniform of generals and marshals with either the wave blue or light grey (summer) tunic. Beside the Sovi
