Measures approx. 7" x 4 ¼" unfolded. Issued by the local district military commissariat to the widow of Pvt. Semyon Makarchuk (Семен Иванович Макарчук) to notify her that he had died in a German POW camp on 18 June 1943. The notice is signed by the district military commissar and one of his officers, and bears the seal of the commissariat.
