Small format for desktop display, measures 4 ¼" x 5 ½". The portrait, a reproduction of one of the most widely known portraits of Lenin, which was, in its turn, painted from the original b/w photo. The portrait is protected by thick sturdy clear plastic. The original manufacturer paper tag is still glued to the verso, identifying the item, the manufacturer, year of manufacture, and the price of 1 rouble 50 kopeks. The stand shows a handwritten name, suggesting that the portrait was to be given to this person, Valya Ilyinykh (Валя Ильиl

The portrait is in very good to excellent condition. The image looks like new under the plastic cover. The plastic shows almost invisible tiny scuffs and scratches which can only be seen if you tilt the item to reflect a bright light. The stand is in perfect condition, its attachment to the backing is reinforced with an adhesive cloth tape.
