Silver gilt, enamels; 47.5 mm tall (incl. the eyelet), 36.8 mm wide; weighs 36.1 not including g the suspension and connecting link. Riveted 3-piece construction; the serial number is engraved with a rotating tool. Sub-variation featuring very distinctive conical upper rivets. This piece is from the first Leningrad Jewelry Factory (ЛЮФ) series with the serial number range from 476000 - 520999 manufactured in 1966.

This particular specimen is from the very interesting part of the series: it is one of the 5300 pieces that due to a bureaucratic error received the same serial numbers as those produced by the Moscow Mint during the same year. The mistake made it necessary to add prefix "0" to all the Moscow-made pieces with the overlap, and they would have serial numbers 0506000- 0512999 (to avoid having the numbers erased or scraping the entire "duplicate" series). The "overlapping" Red Banners of Labor both with and without the prefix "0" are very scarce and highly sought by collectors.

In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect with the exception of a couple of microscopic contact marks on the banner that are completely unnoticeable to the naked eye. Raised details including the hammer and sickle emblem are perfect. The gilt finish is very well preserved and bright. Come on original suspension device, a two-layer model in aluminum. The old, probably original ribbon is very well preserved and attractive. The connecting link appears to be original; its ends are still joined with solder.
