Lenin portrait porcelain plaque, Dulevo after 1968, freestanding with an integral easel.
3 1/4" x 3" x 1 1/2" (95 x 75 x 40mm). Portrait based on one of the May 25, 1919 b/w photographs of him reviewing Red Army troops on Red Square. The Dulevo trade mark on the reverse is the one that the factory has used from 1968 through to the present day - although it is highly doubtful that they made any portraits of Lenin after 1991! Excellent condition.
Please note: a Lenin Centenary medal is not included with the plaque. /Trademark is #249 in Volume One of "Marks on Soviet Porcelain, Faience, and Majolica, 1917-1991" /
