The crown is in olive drab gabardine with red velvet band and red piping. Gold filigree chin cord and dress cockade. The sweat diamond of the Odessa factory shows a 1980 date of manufacture. Size 58 (US Size 7 ¼ / Large) is stamped in white next to the sweat diamond. There is a factory quality control stamp to the underside of the sweat band.

Excellent condition, shows only minimal wear to the sweat band. The hat kept its form perfectly, not squished in storage as is often the case. The wool fabric is completely free of moth tracks. Both the exterior and interior are immaculately clean.
