The crown is in wave-blue wool blend gabardine with maroon band and piping. Includes original gold filigree chin strap cord and full-dress officer cockade. The sweat diamond of the Moscow Zarnitsa Headgear Factory shows a 1974 date of manufacture. Size 57 (US Size 7 1/8 / Medium) is stamped in yellow underneath. There is a Quality Control stamp on the inside of the sweat band.

Excellent, near mint condition, shows only mild wear to the sweat band. The hat kept its form perfectly, not squished in storage as is often the case. The wool fabric is completely free of moth tracks. Both the exterior and interior are immaculately clean.
