Brass gilt, enamels, lacquer; 47.2 x 25.9 mm. Three-piece construction: the Soviet national emblem and the plaque with the wings and school's acronym КАИ ("KAI") are separate superimposed parts attached by rivets. The reverse shows the early-style raised logo "LMD" of the Leningrad Mint.
