Moreover, this range is partly shared with the other version, Type 5 Var. 1 "Valik" (the Mondvor.narod.ru website shows an example of the latter with the serial number 355301 - just 30 numbers apart from the Type 5 Var. 2 Sub-var. 1 offered here!)

Excellent, near mint condition. The enamel is perfect, completely free of flaking or wear. The gilt is beautifully preserved and bright. There are only a couple of microscopic contact marks to the raised points of the reverse, but it takes an effort to find them even with a 10x loupe.

Comes on an original suspension device, a two-layer steel with an integral catch of the pin. The ribbon is old but perfectly preserved and clean. The ends of the connecting link have been re-asoldered but it appears to be of the period and is probably original to the order.
