In gilded brass. Measures 46.2 mm in height, 33.3 mm in width; weighs 13.8 g not including the wing nut. The monogram of Nicholas II and the crossed rifles are separate superimposed parts attached to the oval base by wires. The badge is beautifully detailed.
Excellent condition. The details of the artwork including the Nicholas' cipher and Imperial crown are perfect and crisp. The gilt finish is intact and bright throughout, free of blemishes or significant oxidation. The attachment wires are tight; the connection of the parts of the badge is perfectly tight.
