The artwork is an offset print of Reshetnikov's huge, 7.7 x 4.5 feet oil-on-canvas painting aimed to immortalize Stalin's speech at the1924 II All-Union Congress of the Soviets in the Bolshoi Theatre where the Constitution of the USSR was adopted, and Stalin also spoke about Lenin, his death, and the course the country was taking after his death. This speech was publicized as "The Leader's Oath" and can be considered the starting point of Stalin's cult of personality. It is little wonder that the speech was resurrected in this huge work of art in the year of Stalin's 70th birthday anniversary when the entire country - every organization, factory, collective farm, school, and even individuals - were singing glory to the Great Leader and Father of All Nations in songs, poems, paintings, sculptures, etc., etc., ad nauseum.

In excellent, superb condition. The quality of the offset print, the extra sturdy cardboard of the card, the pre-printed government postal mark - without a price on it, and the absence of the publisher information are highly uncommon.
