Badge of Concertmaster at the VII International Tchaikovsky Competition, Moscow, 1982.
In bronze, gilt, and enamels. Massive and large at 30 mm in height, 48 mm in width. Two-part construction with Tchaikovsky's miniature but finely sculpted head attached with wires. Mark of the Leningrad Mint is in raised relief under the pin attachment.
In excellent condition. Minute loss of gilt to the sides of the rectangle is not very obvious or detractive. The pin attachment is in perfect working order.
